Aquila Mining Pty Ltd, a privately owned and operated company headquartered in Western Australia, has been instrumental in advancing Paste-Fill Operations for leading mining firms across Australasia for the past two decades.
Established in July 2003, Aquila Mining initially focused on providing mining backfill services to underground mines in the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. However, its success led to rapid expansion throughout Australasia. This expansion prompted Aquila Mining to diversify its services, branching into materials processing, civil construction, and specialized plant and equipment hire.

Glenn Garbin
With 40+ years of experience in mining, particularly within the underground sector, Glenn has played a pivotal role in the development and pioneering of mine backfill processes. Glenn founded Aquila Mining in 2003.
Kieran Mooney
+10 years experience in Engineering, construction and Underground Mining capital infrastructure. Well experienced in operations management with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
